A complete guide to every restroom at MetLife Stadium — including family rooms, ADA accessible facilities, and insider tips for shorter lines.
MetLife Stadium opened on April 10, 2010, replacing the adjacent Giants Stadium which had served both New York football teams since 1976. Built at a cost of $1.6 billion (entirely privately financed), it was the most expensive stadium in the world at the time. The open-air stadium was designed by 360 Architecture (now HOK) and is the only NFL stadium shared by two teams from the same league — the New York Giants and New York Jets.
The stadium has hosted Super Bowl XLVIII in 2014 (the first cold-weather outdoor Super Bowl), WrestleMania 29 and 35, major concerts, and international soccer matches. It will be a key venue for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, including the final. MetLife Stadium sits within the Meadowlands Sports Complex alongside the Meadowlands Racetrack.
MetLife Stadium has restrooms on all three concourse levels — 100, 200, and 300. As the largest NFL stadium (82,500 seats), it has extensive restroom facilities throughout. Family restrooms and Mamava nursing pods are available on multiple levels.
ADA-accessible restrooms are available on all levels. The stadium has elevators and ramps throughout for wheelchair access. For accessibility assistance, visit Guest Services at any gate.
Family restrooms with baby changing stations are on all concourse levels. Three Mamava nursing pods are located near the HCLTech Gate, between Sections 249/250 (200 Level), and between Sections 117/118 (100 Level). Download the free Mamava app to find and unlock them.
Restrooms are accessible once inside the stadium. Gates typically open 2 hours before NFL kickoff. There are no public restrooms in the parking lots outside the stadium gates.

The 300 level restrooms are almost always less crowded than the 100 level, especially at halftime. The walk up is worth it to skip the lines.

NJ Transit runs special Meadowlands service from Secaucus Junction on game days. The train drops you right at the stadium and avoids the parking lot chaos entirely.
Gates open 2 hours before kickoff. The initial restroom rush clears in about 10 minutes. Hit the restroom then and you'll be set until the 2nd quarter.
If you're tailgating in the lots, there are no portable restrooms outside — plan to enter the stadium when you need to go. Re-entry is generally not allowed.
The stadium hosts both Giants and Jets games, so the interior branding and concessions change between teams. But the restroom locations stay the same regardless of which team is playing.
All concourse restrooms are open. Gates open 2 hours before kickoff. Halftime sees the heaviest restroom traffic. The 100 level concourse behind the end zones tends to be less crowded than behind the sidelines.
All concourse restrooms are open. Same layout and access as Giants games. The arena switches branding between teams but restroom facilities remain identical.
MetLife hosts major concerts and will be a 2026 FIFA World Cup venue (including the final). Concert and event configurations vary, but most concourse restrooms remain open. Expect larger-than-usual crowds for World Cup matches.
