Terms of Service

    1. Acceptance of Terms

    By accessing or using DunnyDash (“we”, “us”, “our”), including our website, mobile application, and related services (collectively the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

    You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

    2. Our Services

    DunnyDash helps users find public toilets, restrooms, and amenities across Australia and the United States. We provide location information, community reviews, accessibility details, and route-planning tools. We currently list 220,000+ locations.

    We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time without prior notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Services.

    3. Accounts and Security

    You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your password or allow others to access your account.

    You can sign in with email/password, Apple Sign In, or Google Sign In. If you sign in with Apple or Google, your account is linked to that provider's identity.

    4. Subscriptions and Payments

    DunnyDash offers three tiers:

    • Free — Find toilets, read reviews, save favourites
    • Plus ($35.99/year AUD) — Offline maps, write reviews, ad-free
    • Premium ($118.99/year AUD) — Everything in Plus + AI trip planning, comfort zone routing, smart alerts, GPX export

    Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Stripe (for web purchases). Prices may vary by region. All prices include applicable taxes.

    Free trials: Some plans include a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically renew at the listed price.

    Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your device Settings → Subscriptions. You will retain access until the end of your current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds.

    Refunds: Refunds are handled by Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google (play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions). We do not process refunds directly.

    5. User-Generated Content

    You may submit reviews, ratings, and photos (“User Content”) to DunnyDash. By submitting User Content, you:

    • Grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute your content within the Services
    • Confirm that you own or have the right to share the content
    • Agree that your content will be visible to other users
    • Accept that we may remove content that violates these terms

    You must not submit content that:

    • Contains profanity, hate speech, or discriminatory language
    • Is sexually explicit, violent, or threatening
    • Infringes on intellectual property rights
    • Contains personal information about other people
    • Is spam, advertising, or promotional material
    • Is false, misleading, or defamatory

    We use automated content filters and human moderation to review User Content. We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines.

    6. Reporting and Moderation

    You can report inappropriate content or users directly within the app. We review reports within 24 hours and take appropriate action, including content removal and account suspension.

    You can block other users to prevent seeing their content. Blocked users cannot see your reviews or interact with your content.

    7. Prohibited Conduct

    You agree not to:

    • Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Services at scale
    • Misuse location information or facility data
    • Upload harmful, illegal, or objectionable content
    • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack our systems
    • Violate copyright, trademark, or privacy laws
    • Interfere with the performance or availability of the Services
    • Create multiple accounts to evade bans or restrictions
    • Impersonate other users or DunnyDash staff

    8. Intellectual Property

    All DunnyDash branding, design, UI, and proprietary data are owned by DunnyDash. Third-party photography and map data remain the property of their respective owners.

    You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

    9. Third-Party Data and Attribution

    DunnyDash includes data from third-party sources including:

    • Google Places and Google Maps
    • Microsoft Bing
    • OpenStreetMap contributors
    • Publicly available government and council data

    Attributions are displayed as required by each data provider's terms.

    10. Account Deletion

    You can delete your account at any time through the app (Settings → Delete Account) or by emailing hello@dunnydash.com.

    Account deletion permanently removes all your data including reviews, photos, favourites, and profile information. This action cannot be undone.

    Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. You must cancel your subscription separately through your device Settings → Subscriptions.

    11. Takedown Requests

    If you own rights to any content displayed on DunnyDash and want it removed, email hello@dunnydash.com with:

    • URL or description of the content
    • Proof of ownership
    • Your contact details

    We respond within 24-48 hours.

    12. Limitation of Liability

    DunnyDash provides information “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of:

    • Toilet and restroom locations
    • Opening hours and availability
    • Accessibility information
    • User-submitted reviews and photos
    • Route suggestions and directions

    To the maximum extent permitted by law, DunnyDash is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services.

    Use the Services at your own risk.

    13. App Store Terms

    If you download or use our mobile app, you also agree to the applicable terms of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. The app may request access to:

    • Location (to find toilets near you)
    • Camera and photos (for review photos)
    • Notifications (for proximity alerts)

    You can manage these permissions at any time in your device settings.

    14. Termination

    We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services for:

    • Violations of these Terms of Service
    • Submitting abusive or prohibited content
    • Fraudulent activity
    • Excessive automated access or scraping
    • Any conduct that threatens the security of the Services

    15. Changes to These Terms

    We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

    16. Governing Law

    These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. For users in the United States, applicable U.S. federal and state laws also apply. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Australia.
