Paycor Stadium opened on August 19, 2000 as Paul Brown Stadium, named after the legendary founder of the Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns. Built at a cost of $455 million, the stadium was designed by NBBJ and sits on the banks of the Ohio River in downtown Cincinnati, replacing the multipurpose Riverfront Stadium (Cinergy Field).
The open-air venue was designed to maximize views of the Ohio River and the Northern Kentucky skyline from the upper concourses. In 2022, Paycor HCM acquired the naming rights in a deal worth approximately $100 million over 16 years. The stadium has hosted international soccer matches, concerts, and college football games in addition to Bengals home games.
A major renovation program beginning in 2025 includes full overhauls of all premium suites, public restrooms, and concession areas, with upgrades to modern finishes, touchless fixtures, and improved ADA accessibility. Most upgrades are targeted for completion before the 2026 regular season, though some work may continue through 2027. Paycor Stadium has restrooms on all three concourse levels — Lower (100 Level), Club (200 Level), and Upper (300 Level). Men's and women's restrooms are distributed around each level with pairs roughly every 4-5 sections. Family restrooms are located on all levels. A major 2025-2026 renovation is modernizing all public restrooms with touchless fixtures, improved finishes, and enhanced ADA accessibility.

Family restrooms with baby changing stations are located on the Lower Concourse near Sections 104 and 118, on the Club Level near Section 215, and on the Upper Level near Sections 305 and 323. All are single-occupancy rooms.

The Upper Level (300 Level) restrooms are significantly less crowded than the Lower Concourse, especially at halftime. The 300 Level does not have 360-degree concourse access, so check which side your section's restroom is on before kickoff.
The Banks entertainment district sits between Paycor Stadium and Great American Ball Park along the Ohio River. Use restaurant restrooms at Moerlein Lager House or Holy Grail Tavern before entering the stadium to avoid the initial rush.
The 2025-2026 renovation is upgrading all public restrooms to modern touchless fixtures. Expect some temporary closures during early-season games in 2026 — check the Bengals app for real-time restroom status and navigation.
For cheaper parking, skip the stadium lots ($30-50) and park in downtown garages for $15-20, or cross the river to Covington or Newport, Kentucky where parking is $5-10. The Southbank Shuttle runs from the Kentucky riverfront to the stadium for $1.
Nearly 70% of the seats are along the sidelines rather than in the end zones, which is unusual for NFL stadiums. Rows 7-19 in the 300 Level sections give you a good elevated view with easy concourse and restroom access.
The Ohio River views from the upper concourses on the east side are spectacular, especially during sunset for late-afternoon games. The open end zones frame the Northern Kentucky skyline.
