The first public event was the Buffalo Bills' Blue & Red Practice (open training session) on August 8, 2026, followed by preseason games on August 15 and 27. The first regular season game was scheduled for September 17, 2026, against the Detroit Lions.

The new Highmark Stadium opened in 2026 with dramatically improved restroom facilities compared to the old stadium. Wide concourses eliminate the bottlenecks that plagued the original venue. Modern restroom facilities are located throughout the Main Concourse (100 Level), Club Level (200 Level), and Upper Level (300 Level). All restrooms have baby changing stations.

The new stadium's wide concourses are a massive improvement over the old venue's notorious bottlenecks. Restroom lines should be significantly shorter than what fans experienced at the old stadium.
