U.S. Bank Stadium opened on July 22, 2016, replacing the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome as the home of the Minnesota Vikings. The $1.1 billion venue was designed by HKS Architects with a fixed roof made of ethylene tetrafluoroethylene (ETFE) — a transparent polymer that allows natural light to flood the interior while protecting fans from Minnesota's harsh winters.
The stadium seats 66,655 (expandable to 73,000 for major events) and features five massive pivoting glass doors on the west end that can open to create a dramatic indoor-outdoor experience. The roof's 60% ETFE coverage makes it the most transparent fixed-roof stadium in the NFL.
U.S. Bank Stadium hosted Super Bowl LII in February 2018 (the Philadelphia Eagles' first Super Bowl victory), the 2019 NCAA Final Four, the 2022 USATF Outdoor Track & Field Championships, and numerous concerts and special events.
Compared to the Metrodome, U.S. Bank Stadium has over twice as many restrooms, a much larger video board, wireless internet, escalators and elevators, and dramatically wider concourses. The stadium's downtown Minneapolis location provides easy access to the city's skyway system, restaurants, and entertainment.
U.S. Bank Stadium has more than twice as many restrooms as the old Metrodome. Public restrooms (men, women, and family) are found throughout the stadium on every level. Baby changing stations are in all public restrooms and family restrooms. The stadium's wide concourses and modern design keep traffic flowing smoothly.
All restrooms are ADA accessible. An adult changing table is available in the family restroom at Section 114 on the Main Concourse. Elevators and escalators connect all levels. For ADA assistance, contact Guest Services.
Family restrooms are located on the Main Concourse behind Sections 103, 114 (adult changing table), 124, 136, in the West Event Level End Zone, and on the Upper Concourse at Sections 306, 309, 316, 319, 340, 343, 346. All club spaces also have family restrooms.
On non-event days, downtown Minneapolis restaurants, the skyway system, and Target Field (on Twins game days) have public restrooms nearby.

The Metro Blue Line connects directly from the airport to U.S. Bank Stadium Station in 30 minutes. No car needed — take the light rail and skip parking entirely.
The Minneapolis Skyway System lets you walk from downtown hotels to the stadium entirely indoors. Essential for December and January games when wind chill drops well below zero.
The stadium has more than twice the restrooms of the old Metrodome. Wait times are significantly shorter than what longtime fans remember from the Metrodome era.

All concourses and restrooms are open. Gates open 2 hours before kickoff. The fixed roof means no weather concerns inside. The Metro light rail is the best transportation option. Restroom lines peak at halftime but are much shorter than the old Metrodome.
