About Disney's Hollywood Studios
Disney's Hollywood Studios opened on May 1, 1989, as Disney-MGM Studios — the third theme park at Walt Disney World. Originally conceived as a combination theme park and working television and film production facility, the park featured the Great Movie Ride as its centerpiece attraction inside a full-scale replica of the Chinese Theatre from Hollywood Boulevard.
The park underwent a major identity shift starting in the 2010s. It was renamed Disney's Hollywood Studios in 2008, and massive construction began to transform it from a studio-themed park into an immersive entertainment destination. Toy Story Land opened in 2018, bringing Slinky Dog Dash and Alien Swirling Saucers. Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opened in 2019, featuring Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance (widely considered one of the most advanced theme park attractions ever built). Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway opened in 2020 inside the Chinese Theatre, replacing the Great Movie Ride.
The park has a new Baby Care Center near The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure with Disney baby character theming, and the Drawn to Wonderland indoor playground opened in 2026.
Restrooms Inside Hollywood Studios
Disney's Hollywood Studios has restrooms in every area: Hollywood Boulevard, Echo Lake, Animation Courtyard, Sunset Boulevard, Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, and Toy Story Land. The park also has a dedicated Baby Care Center near the Animation Courtyard area.
All restrooms are wheelchair accessible. Companion restrooms are available in Echo Lake, Galaxy's Edge, Toy Story Land, and other locations. The Baby Care Center is fully accessible. Guest Relations at the park entrance can provide accessibility guides.
The Baby Care Center near The Little Mermaid attraction is the newest at Walt Disney World, featuring Disney baby character theming. It offers private nursing rooms, changing tables, bottle warmers, a kitchenette, feeding area with high chairs, and kid-size toilets. Baby supplies are available for purchase. Companion restrooms throughout the park serve as family restrooms. All standard restrooms have changing tables.
Restrooms are available near the park entrance outside the turnstiles. The parking lot has no standalone restroom facilities.

Insider Tips
The Sunset Boulevard restrooms near Tower of Terror are at the end of a long walk down the boulevard, which deters many guests. They are consistently less crowded than the Hollywood Boulevard and Echo Lake restrooms.
The Baby Care Center is the newest at Walt Disney World, featuring beautiful Disney baby character artwork. It is less crowded than Magic Kingdom's Baby Care Center because Hollywood Studios draws fewer families with infants.
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge restrooms have impressive Batuu theming, but they can be crowded during peak Galaxy's Edge hours. The Echo Lake restrooms are a short walk away and typically much quieter.
The Drawn to Wonderland indoor playground (opened 2026) near the Baby Care Center is a great spot for toddlers to burn energy in air conditioning. The Baby Care Center and nearby restrooms make this area a family hub.
Hollywood Studios is the smallest of the four Walt Disney World theme parks, which means restrooms are never far away. You can walk from one end of the park to the other in about 15 minutes.

All restrooms are open during park hours. Galaxy's Edge and Toy Story Land restrooms are busiest from 10 AM to 3 PM. The Baby Care Center is open during all park hours.
Jollywood Nights / Special Events
During special ticketed events, all restrooms remain open. The park is typically less crowded than a regular peak day, resulting in shorter restroom waits.
Fantasmic! Evenings
The amphitheater for Fantasmic! is on Sunset Boulevard. Restrooms near the amphitheater will be busy before and after the show. Use the Echo Lake or Hollywood Boulevard restrooms as alternatives.
