About EPCOT
EPCOT opened on October 1, 1982, as Walt Disney World's second theme park. The name originally stood for 'Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow,' reflecting Walt Disney's vision of a real working city of the future. While the park evolved from a planned community into a theme park, it retained Walt's focus on technology, innovation, and international culture.
The park was built at a cost of $1.4 billion, making it the most expensive construction project in the world at the time. It opened with two main sections: Future World (featuring Spaceship Earth inside the iconic geodesic sphere) and World Showcase (with nine country pavilions; Morocco and Norway were added later). Over the decades, major additions have included Test Track, Soarin', Mission: SPACE, Frozen Ever After in the Norway pavilion, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind (2022), and the complete reimagining of the former Future World into World Celebration, World Discovery, and World Nature.
EPCOT draws approximately 12.4 million visitors annually and is particularly beloved by families for the International Food & Wine Festival, Festival of the Arts, Flower & Garden Festival, and Festival of the Holidays.
Restrooms Inside EPCOT
EPCOT has restrooms in every major area: World Celebration (near Spaceship Earth), World Nature (The Land and The Seas pavilions), World Discovery (near Test Track and Guardians of the Galaxy), and every country pavilion in World Showcase (Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Italy, American Adventure, Japan, Morocco, France, United Kingdom, Canada). Additional restrooms at the Main Entrance and International Gateway.
All restrooms are wheelchair accessible. Companion restrooms are available in multiple locations. The Baby Care Center is fully accessible. Guest Relations can provide accessibility guides and ECV rental information. EPCOT's flat terrain and wide walkways make it one of the most wheelchair-friendly Disney parks.
The Baby Care Center is near the Odyssey pavilion between World Celebration and World Showcase. It offers private nursing rooms, changing tables, bottle warmers, a kitchenette, feeding area with high chairs, and kid-size toilets. Baby supplies are available for purchase. All standard restrooms throughout the park have changing tables in both men's and women's facilities.
Restrooms are available at the Main Entrance outside the turnstiles and at the International Gateway rear entrance. The EPCOT parking lot does not have standalone restroom facilities, so use the Main Entrance restrooms upon arrival.

World Celebration(2)
Located near the Odyssey pavilion at the border of World Celebration and World Showcase. Offers private nursing rooms, changing tables, bottle warmers, kitchenette, feeding area with high chairs, kid-size toilets. Sells diapers, wipes, formula, baby food, and medications.
Near the base of Spaceship Earth, the iconic geodesic sphere. Companion restroom available.
World Nature (The Land Pavilion)(1)
Inside The Land pavilion, home of Soarin' Around the World. Large facility with multiple stalls. Also has companion restroom.
World Nature (The Seas Pavilion)(1)
Inside The Seas pavilion. Often less crowded than other World Nature restrooms. Air-conditioned pavilion provides a good break from the heat.
World Discovery(1)
Near the Test Track attraction in World Discovery. Companion restroom available.
World Showcase — Mexico(1)
Inside the Mexico pavilion pyramid. The first country pavilion restroom you encounter walking clockwise around World Showcase.
World Showcase — Norway(1)
Located at the back of the Norway pavilion near Frozen Ever After. This is one of the busiest World Showcase restrooms due to the popularity of Frozen Ever After.
World Showcase — China(1)
Small shared restroom between the Lotus Blossom Cafe and Nine Dragons restaurant. The entrance is to the left of the outdoor quick service. Easy to miss — look for it behind the dining areas.
World Showcase — Germany(1)
Located in the Germany pavilion near Biergarten Restaurant.
World Showcase — Italy(1)
In the Italy pavilion near the Venetian-style buildings. Moderately busy.
World Showcase — American Adventure(1)
The largest pair of restrooms in the World Showcase, located inside the American Adventure building. Well-maintained and centrally located on the lagoon.
World Showcase — Japan(1)
In the Japan pavilion. Often less crowded than the American Adventure or France restrooms.
World Showcase — Morocco(1)
Tucked inside the Morocco pavilion. This is one of the most underused World Showcase restrooms because many guests skip Morocco.
World Showcase — France(1)
Near Remy's Ratatouille Adventure. Gets busy due to the popularity of the attraction and the nearby bakery. The expanded France pavilion area added additional restroom capacity.
World Showcase — United Kingdom(1)
Located in the UK pavilion. Near the International Gateway entrance, so convenient for guests arriving via Disney Skyliner or walking from EPCOT-area resorts.
World Showcase — Canada(1)
The last country pavilion if walking clockwise, and the first if walking counterclockwise. Often overlooked and less crowded.
International Gateway(1)
At the park's rear entrance. Convenient for guests arriving via Disney Skyliner or from the Beach Club, Yacht Club, or BoardWalk resorts.
Insider Tips
The Morocco pavilion restroom is consistently the least crowded in all of World Showcase. Many guests walk right past Morocco, making this a reliable option when Norway and France restrooms have long lines.
The American Adventure restroom is the largest in World Showcase and centrally located on the lagoon. Use this as your home base restroom if walking the full World Showcase loop with kids.
World Showcase opens later than the front of the park (typically 11 AM vs 9 AM park opening). Plan your morning rides in World Celebration, World Nature, and World Discovery where all restrooms are open from park opening.
The Baby Care Center is located in a somewhat awkward spot between World Celebration and World Showcase near the Odyssey pavilion. It is easy to miss — look for it on the left side as you walk from the front of the park toward World Showcase.
EPCOT is a massive park — 1.2 miles around World Showcase alone. Rent a stroller at the park entrance even for children up to age 5 or 6 to avoid exhaustion. Stroller parking is available near every pavilion restroom.
Mobile order food at quick-service restaurants using the My Disney Experience app. Sunshine Seasons in The Land pavilion has excellent variety and can be mobile ordered.
The International Gateway entrance at the back of the park (between France and UK) is accessible via Disney Skyliner gondola or by walking from nearby resort hotels. This entrance avoids the busy front entrance and parking lot, and has its own restrooms.
During EPCOT festivals (Food & Wine, Flower & Garden, etc.), the park is more crowded than usual. The Morocco and Japan pavilion restrooms remain less crowded even during festivals.
For Specific Events
Regular Park Day
World Celebration, World Nature, and World Discovery restrooms open at park opening. World Showcase restrooms open when World Showcase opens (typically 11 AM, but check the app). All restrooms remain open until park closing.
EPCOT Festivals (Food & Wine, Flower & Garden, Festival of the Arts, Festival of the Holidays)
During festivals, the park sees increased attendance especially in World Showcase. Restrooms near the Mexico, France, and Norway pavilions get particularly busy. Head to Morocco, Japan, or Canada for shorter waits.
Extended Evening Hours (Deluxe Resort Guests)
During Extended Evening Hours, World Showcase restrooms remain open in the operating areas. The front of the park may have limited restroom access.

Unlike Magic Kingdom, EPCOT parking is directly in front of the park entrance. After parking, take the free tram to the Main Entrance (about 5 minutes) or walk. EPCOT parking is directly in front of the park, unlike Magic Kingdom where you need to transfer via monorail or ferry. Standard parking is $35/day (valid at all four parks). After parking, ride the free tram or walk to the entrance. The lot is enormous — photograph your section marker. Alternatively, enter via the International Gateway at the back of the park using the Disney Skyliner gondola or by walking from nearby resorts.
