Montville is a tiny village with limited facilities. If you're heading to the waterfall, plan your toilet stop carefully.
Main Street toilets
Central location between the craft shops and galleries. Well-maintained and accessible.
Montville Main Street is about 500 metres of craft shops, galleries, fudge shops, and cafes. The public toilet is centrally located. Most cafes also have customer facilities if you buy a coffee.
Kondalilla NP car park (ONLY option)
Last toilet before the 2.7km descent to the falls. No toilet at the bottom. Use before you walk.
The walk to Kondalilla Falls is 2.7km down (45-60 minutes) and the same back up. It's steep with stairs. There is absolutely NO toilet at the swimming hole or waterfall. The car park toilet is your only option. Use it before you start.
Village Green toilets
At the park and picnic area. BBQ facilities and shaded tables. Popular weekend lunch spot.
The Village Green is Montville's community park — grassed area with picnic tables, BBQs, and views over the hinterland. The toilet block is basic but clean. Good spot to stretch legs and have lunch.
Baroon Pocket Dam (on the way)
Between Montville and Maleny. Good pit stop with lake views and picnic area.

Multiple walks start from the Kondalilla car park. All return to the same point — and the toilet.
Besides the falls walk, Kondalilla has a circuit track through rainforest (easier, 1.7km) and connections to other Blackall Range trails. All start and finish at the car park where the toilet is located.
